Okay, this has got to be the most mischievous post from FP Comms to date. But what is life if we don’t live a little dangerously.
Here are three roles PRs get mistaken for:
Administrators and Personal Assistance – Clients tend to want to dump admin responsibilities on their PR agency and Account Manager. That is a very costly use of our time and can often lead to resentment on both sides.
Therapists – PR is a very intimate relationship, and more often than not they share some of their most personal stories with their Account Manager at the agency.
Sales Executives – PR, Marketing and Sales are cousins. We may have the same grandparents, but we are all individual and serve a different purpose for a business.
At this stage, I could share the things clients should do, but I suggest you read a few of our other posts.
